About Angelina
 (Owner)

Decorative painting and crafting came into my life by accident, literally. After a serious injury altering my life and health, I needed to find a gentle therapeutic outlet to help cope with the stress from my injuries. Thanks to my hubby who had seen Donna Dewberry, Onestroke painting creator, on television, I found my first creative outlet and created handpainted items little by little.

In 2004, I was certified as a One Stroke  instructor and began teaching in various craft stores. Thereafter, I had the thrill and honor of having my painted designs featured in Donna Dewberry's OneStroke magazine, a true joy! Currently, I offer classes through a wonderful program with the City of Escondido Recreation.  I enjoy teaching, and I am passionate about sharing my love of painting with others who desire to learn.

My interests have expanded in various areas of handmade crafts and seasonal jewelry. After encouragement from loved ones, I began to sell my items at local craft fairs. I am blessed with help from my lovely, talented, 84 year-old mother, my brother,  and strength from my husband, who without them I couldn't finish even half the crafts that I do.

Craft fairs are always a hoot!  I enjoy meeting excited craft/painting enthusiasts at shows who recognize the care placed into each handmade item and purchase them for themselves or as a gift for a loved one.

Deciding to start a website took quite sometime, so I am tickled pink to finally have the opportunity to launch  my first website!. Please enjoy your visit here at One Craftychic's Designs. Feel free to inquire about any custom orders or items of interest.  Enjoy!
